using energy

 Using energy is when one form of energy to another form. An example would be turning on a light, this switches electrical energy into heat and light energy.  Once this energy is used to power the light it is considered "used". 

We use electrical energy in our lives everyday. When you tun on a light, when your watching TV, or when you bake cookies. Almost everything is powered by electrical energy, if we did not have it our lives would not be the same. 

   People often   fear of “running out” of energy but they really fear of running out of a certain   type of energy, often fossil fuels like oil and coal because they are easy to   use. Once this oil and gas is used up there will be no more. When we have   turned a form into electrical energy it is impractical to revert it back so   we say that it is “running out” of energy.
