  The Refrigerator uses the most energy in my home. The refrigerator uses 640 kWh a year while the microwave uses 525 kWh per year, and the ceiling lights uses even less, using 201.6 kWh per year and then the clothes washer uses 153 kWh per year. This item uses the most energy because it is on all the time and uses the most amount of voltage. The frige also stays on for 24 hours in a day and is on all year as well.
